If you're like me, you like playing the lottery. But the chances of winning seem pretty bleak - so you need to get the most out of your lottery bucks.

To that end, what you really want to do is better your odds. In fact, the only way of bettering your odds is to buy more tickets. Not big news here! Combinations are one of the best 2 ways of playing multiple tickets to better your odds. Wheeling is the second way. Wheeling will let you play most combinations of a group of numbers less expensively - combination play will give you every combination of a group of numbers, whereas wheeling lets you play the combinations that make a difference. For example does it matter if every combination of two numbers is in each board? Wheeling will allow you to cover the most combinations - the ones that matter - more cheaply.

I've tried a few different software packages but Lotto Pro 2007 is the best. Hot, Cold, Skips, Wheeling it's all there for you. It helps if you understand what you're doing when you're choosing options but you can learn as you're doing it. There is a two-week trial period and I've tried the software myself and there are no malware, or virus-type 'extras' to worry about. There are two things I don't like about LottoPro so far. The first is that when calculating 'cold' numbers, the bonus is not taken into account. The second is that for Keno the only option is to wheel for category 10.

All in all though, it is an honest-to-goodness quality product for the lottery player. Just about every lotto playing country is represented. At the click of a button a Canadian, like me, can download all the historical numbers for our national Super 7, 6/49, or my Ontario games. It's the best I've seen yet. I wish I had written it. They give you a 2-week free trial because I think they know that chances are you'll start winning within a couple of weeks. The options for playing sets of numbers are varied so if your budget is small you can play smaller sets, if you've got a larger lottery budget you can play more lines. It's very cool.

I don't find any fun in Quick Picks - it's boring. As you read on, keep in mind I'm not a mathematician nor a magician. I've done my research and this is just the way I play, the main thing is to have fun, dream a little, and don't blow your budget. With Lotto Pro 2007 on my side, I'm optimistic about winning the jackpot because I've been winning more since I started using the software.
